The Ashtray
It was born from the need to combine tobacco preparation with the convenience of having everything at hand as we get ready for our "Moment."
It is made of chestnut wood (treated with a dark stain), leather, and aluminum.
The wood comes from chestnut trees in the Alto Minho region of Portugal, while the leather is of Spanish origin—specifically from La Rioja, a renowned wine-producing region.
Each ashtray is unique; it is crafted from start to finish by the same artisan, who signs it and adds its specific production number. This number appears in Roman numerals next to the signature.
No two ashtrays are alike.
It includes a Zippo pipe lighter and, as a gift, a three-function Czech-style pipe tool.
The tray features the ashtray itself, a pipe stand, a space for a lighter, a slot for a filter (up to 9 mm), a rest for the Czech tool, and finally, a space for a pipe cleaner.
